This shoot all started in January when Vanessa (stylist ) and myself got together to discuss collaborating on some shoots during the winter.Over the next few months we met a few times to throw around some ideas and slowly the different ideas started to morph into something new and exciting.
With Inspiration ranging from Paolo Roversi to Lotte Reiniger we finally settled on the final direction.
Technically it was always going to be a challenge.The first step was working out how to have a projected backdrop without projecting all over the model.The next was working out how to keep the atmosphere of the projector but still light the model and the scene.
While I was fiddling away tweaking the lights Charmaine was working her magic on the hair ,which involved glueing an entire set of extensions onto our model.At the same time Vanessa was steaming all the clothes and Mr Slinky was racing around the studio, stopping only to occasionally lift his leg on the backdrop!
